“ There are several really good Cuban Fritas in Dade County. You go to them and you are happy. However when you go back to El Rey De las Fritas you realize real quick why it's called El Rey. They are the KINGS of the Cuban frita. That original Cuban frita here is simply FIRE!!! ”
“ Amazing tasting Cuban flavor frita Always hits the spot, they always make it fresh to order. I had a double with cheese & egg with a Side of fresh French fries que Rico and a Cafecito of course everything on point. ”
“ You don’t get more authentic than El Rey de la Frita! It truly is the best frita in town & possibly anywhere. The meat and seasoning are on point and the bread it’s served on is freaky and sister. Both my husband and I had the original frita with onions and it was delicious. I also ordered a “batido de Mamey” (Mamey Shake) and it truly is the best batido anywhere. And the service was excellent. It is a joy to go to an establishment where everyone from the server at the window to the 3 cooks, everyone was smiling, helpful, fast, efficient, and kind. The place was packed for a Saturday afternoon at 3pm. I haven’t had a fritas in decades and I was craving one the last few weeks. I’m so happy I waited to come here. If you’re in the neighborhood (or not) come and enjoy! ”
“ The name says it all. They are the KING of Cuban Fritas, which is a Cuban burger. All the locals come here. They have some amazing sauce they put on the meat, and they wont give the recipe! Its too good. Try a Jupina that is a pineapple flavored soda and definitely try one of their shakes. We got the mamay. Give this place is try, you will like it! ”
“ Very compact and heavily reputable establishment so expect to wait 15-40 minutes to receive your food, but it is worth the wait! Their sandwiches are so authentic and their smoothies are so good. This is for sure something to add to a checklist whenever you’re around this area. Very iconic! ”
“ Me and my friend ate here the first time we got to miami! The place is pretty packed and its not very comfortable for big group so if you’re looking for a place to chill its not the right place! I ordered bistec con ensalada but tbh its not their best menu, my friend order pan con chorizo and its the best! ”
“ This place is a neighborhood gem. It’s aesthetics are simple not frills or bows. Just straight to the point delicious food. The service is quick and to the point. Which is very appreciated during the busy rush of lunch time. ”
